The Personal Armor System for Ground Troops, also known as the PASGT helmet, is the first modern warfare version of combat helmets for U.S. Army between 1980 - 2005. The PASGT style Helmet is designed as a UHMW-PE helmet suitable for military and police use. This lightweight helmet is manufactured using a para-aramid material which provides excellent protection against ballistic and
fragmentation threats. The harness system provides a balanced and comfortable
fit allowing adjustments to fit individual needs. A four-point harness is attached to the helmet's shell with ballistic resistant bolts and can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.
